Powerpissed – PWRPSSD [Album Review]
I’d say about a third of the bands that land in my inbox have their names capitalised. I’m not sure if it is a genuine thing that most bands these days particularly spell their name in all caps, or if it is just a common choice in the way they type it for attention. Either way, this is another one of them, and to be honest, the name Powerpissed doesn’t need capitalising.

I didn’t think any bands had identified with the “Screamo” genre since it became an embarrassing tag about a decade ago, but Dooie Mus are using it to describe themselves. Needless to say, I was immediately drawn in.

Cold Summer – Fight To Survive [EP Review]
Disclaimer: I am not a fan of commercial rock music. That includes about 95% of the “artists” that you see on the likes of Kerrang!, playing arena shows, on major record labels and with the all important image which seems to be the sole selling point. In addition, I dislike all of the bands that try to sound like someone already famous in an attempt to gain popularity.
