Jean Foutre – Last Miserable Granite Spring [Album Review]
Sometimes a band will crop up out of nowhere and kick you so hard in the dick that the hairs fly out of your skin. Most Cloths at the ready, this is Jean Foutre.

I’d say about a third of the bands that land in my inbox have their names capitalised. I’m not sure if it is a genuine thing that most bands these days particularly spell their name in all caps, or if it is just a common choice in the way they type it for attention. Either way, this is another one of them, and to be honest, the name Powerpissed doesn’t need capitalising.
French thrash metal collective Malkavian have just shared a lyric video for the track “Encryption Process” off the band’s forthcoming second album “Annihilating the Shades”.
I have a strange soft spot for grindcore/speed metal bands, ones that would be nothing more than loud noise to most people. Strange because it shouldn’t really be a soft spot, more of an infected wound. Nonetheless, The Mansters are all about loud, thrashy music that doesn’t mess around. It just fucks you up.
Suicidal Tendencies are one of those bands who released a debut album that I absolutely adore, but then all of the following albums just didn’t do a thing for me. That was until 1999 when Freedumb came out. Since then, each album that I have heard has pleased me immensely, World Gone Mad included.
